Christological Issues: Stumbling Block or Meeting Point for Muslim-Christian Dialogue?

Abstract

The major issue that appears to create difficulty in the Muslim and Christian dialogue is the way both faiths look at Jesus. Stressing the divinity of Jesus over and above other aspects of the identity of Jesus, Christians widen the gap between them and their Muslim brethren.  Can there be no other way to talk about Jesus that would bring them together?
